If one person came to mind, don’t ignore that feeling.
Does this feel familiar?
You’re caring, capable, and deeply understanding—but somewhere inside the relationship, you’ve started losing sight of you.
You explain away behavior that hurts you.
You wonder if you’re asking for too much.
You spend more time understanding them than understanding yourself.
You keep believing the next conversation will finally change everything.
You leave conversations wondering if you’re the problem.
If you quietly nodded at more than one of these…

M.A. • Founder of Securely Loved
Her understanding of relationship patterns is professional—and personal.
Growing up in an unstable, unpredictable home, Bev learned early that relationships could feel unbalanced, uncertain, and unsafe. She knows how easily those early lessons can follow a woman into adult love, because she lived them too.
That personal understanding became the foundation of her life’s work. Today, Bev helps people experiencing emotional overwhelm—with a special focus on romantic relationships, rebuilding healthy self-esteem, and creating more harmonious family dynamics.
With a Master’s degree earned in 2006 and more than 25 years devoted to personal growth and professional development, Bev brings the perspective of an executive leader, university lecturer, published author, and compassionate counsellor.
You deserve to feel understood—not judged, rushed, or told that your needs are too much.
A gentle first step
You don’t need the perfect words. Bring the relationship question that’s been sitting heavy on your mind.
No preparation, explanation, or perfectly formed question required.
Bev will listen and help you look beneath the surface of your question.
You’ll have a stronger sense of what may be happening and your next step.
We won’t solve everything in 15 minutes.
Another way to begin
Sometimes talking feels like a big first step. That’s completely okay. The free Attachment Style Quiz gives you a quiet way to begin exploring your relationship patterns without sharing anything before you’re ready.
The quiz can help you begin putting language to:
Free, private, and yours to take at your own pace.
A softer first step is still a real first step.
A different way forward
The first change is often quieter than you expect. It begins with the questions you stop asking—and the ones you finally allow yourself to ask.
“Maybe I’m too emotional.”
My feelings are information—not a flaw.
“How can I make this relationship work?”
Is this relationship good for me?
“I just need to be more patient.”
Healthy love makes room for both of us.
Clarity begins when you stop making your needs the problem.
Before you decide
Taking a first step can feel vulnerable. Here’s what you may want to know before choosing what feels right for you.
You don’t need to be certain. You only need a place to begin.
Yes. The call is completely free, with no pressure or obligation. It’s a supportive place to bring the question that has been weighing on you and begin finding greater clarity.
That’s completely normal. You don’t need to prepare anything or find the perfect words. You can simply tell Bev what has been on your mind, and she’ll help you begin from there.
You’re still welcome. These relationship patterns can appear whether you’re dating, married, separated, divorced, healing from heartbreak, or trying to understand something from your past.
No. The goal is to help you better understand yourself and your situation, so your decisions can come from greater clarity rather than pressure, confusion, or fear.
No. The Connection Call is a brief, supportive first conversation; it isn’t a counselling session or a substitute for ongoing mental health care. You’ll use the time to explore what may be beneath your question and identify a possible next step.
You can begin privately with the free Attachment Style Quiz. It’s a quiet way to start exploring your patterns at your own pace, without sharing anything before you’re ready.
