As a child, I lived in a very unpredictable and chaotic environment where I never knew if I could rely on my parents to meet my emotional needs. This led me to absorb unhealthy relationship ideas based on what I was witnessing: I believed relationships were supposed to be unbalanced, uncertain, and overall chaotic. If you have an insecure attachment style, you probably relate to my experience, and navigating relationships can be particularly difficult for you.

Prior to becoming a Certified Attachment Practitioner, I was an Executive Leader, University Lecturer and published author, having obtained my Masters' Degree in 2006. I have spent my entire career (25+ years) working with adults in the realm of personal growth and professional development.

I’m a Master’s level clinician and relationship coach who has rebuilt her life after getting sober seventeen years ago and battled through her own struggles with anxious attachment, imposter syndrome, and low self-worth.

I have now made it my mission to help hundreds of people do the same, and completely transform their lives and their relationships by getting to the root cause of their issues. I’m highly motivated to help you gain the skills, tools, and an understanding of the psychology behind attachment theory to help you put an end to self-sabotaging behavior, toxic relationships, and playing small in this world.

I know there is a quiet, yet powerful voice inside of you telling you that you are meant for much more in this world, and that it is your birthright to be happy, healthy, and successful; and I am here to guide you exactly to that place!

As a Certified Relationship and Attachment Theory Practitioner, I help clients explore core beliefs, personal needs, boundaries, and coping mechanisms to build self-awareness and recognize sabotaging patterns. My work emphasizes emotional literacy and the development of a secure attachment style, while supporting clients in fostering healthier and more fulfilling personal connections.

Drawing on my own lived experience as a Dismissive Avoidant and someone with an anxiety disorder, I believe in a client-centered approach. By drawing on both professional expertise and personal experience, I tailor strategies to each person’s unique profile and lived routines, helping individuals develop new habits and achieve meaningful goals.

Believing in the power of balance and healthy living, I enjoy painting, photography, fitness, tennis and meditation as activities that fuel my passions and provide a sense of calm in my life.

I've spent a lifetime in therapy, feeling fragmented and lacking meaning, but it wasn’t until I found attachment theory for my Fearful Avoidant (FA) attachment style that I felt true transformation! My first goal was to work on my anxious style in romantic relationships, and as I gained a deep sense of security—first being single, then within a secure relationship—I reconnected with my true self, my true purpose and my true love of myself.

Integrated Attachment Theory™ helped me hold fast to daily practices that guide my healing through creative self-expression, spiritual connection with nature and Ashtanga Yoga. I work with all attachment styles as this allows me to offer great insight into the relationship dynamics between various styles (and personally I have experience being all four different styles!).

I hold degrees in Psychobiology, Neuroscience and Biocultural Medical Anthropology (Ph.D.) and a certification in Integrated Attachment Theory. I have more than 20 years of coaching experience in the field of mental health and wellbeing, while teaching, researching and leading teams in universities and mental health services.
